Meet Dr. Chan, Optometrist

Dr. Chan received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California San Diego in 1986 and her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1990 from Pacific University College of Optometry. To broaden her skills, she also completed a year of residency training specializing in geriatrics and ocular diseases at the Veterans Hospital in Portland. After practicing in the Portland / Vancouver area for nearly seven years, Dr. Chan purchased her first clinic in Battle Ground, Washington. She found private practice very fulfilling and promptly acquired her second office in 1999.

Dr. Chan is involved in both community and professional organizations. As a 20-year member of the American Optometric Association and the Washington Association of Optometric Physicians, Dr. Chan has always been an avid supporter of good eye health. Currently the Trustee of the Optometric Physicians of Washington, Dr. Chan is very active in educating the community about vision. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, spending time with her family and traveling.

Meet Suzie, Licensed Optician

With many years of experience, Suzie enjoys helping her customers find the right eyewear for their lifestyle. Knowledgeable on many athletic eyewear brands and the latest in lens technology, Suzie is always eager to assist customers in understanding their eyewear options. Away from work, Suzie loves to cook, socialize with friends and exercise. She enjoys bicycling and regularly volunteers at the Washington State School for the Blind in their tandem cycling program.

Meet Candy, Licensed Optician

Since beginning her optical career in 2006, Candy has strived to help educate her patients about the constantly changing products in the optical industry and which ones would be best suited to their lifestyle. Her special interest is in the field of contact lenses. Candy's personal goals include continuing her undergraduate studies in the hope of becoming an optometrist someday. Active with family and friends, Candy still finds the time to volunteer in many different projects within the Vancouver/Portland metro area.
